генеральный подрядчик (контрактор): фирма, которая осуществляет строительство здания по заказу владельца или девелопера, в т. ч. с привлечением субконтракторов.* * ** * *. фирма или организация, выполняющая по подрядному контракту обязательства по строительству за рубежом различного рода объектов, включая монтаж и наладку оборудования. Г.п. с согласия заказчика имеет право привлекать к выполнению своих обязательств отечественных или иностранных субподрядчиков, полностью отвечая за результаты деятельности (бездеятельности) последних. Сдачу заказчику комплектного оборудования или объекта в целом Г. п. обычно производит вместе с генеральным поставщиком и генеральным проектировщиком.
